These nickel mesh electrodes are particularly well-suited for use in: Alkaline water electrolysis or hydrogen-production cells, where a finely woven nickel mesh ensures low resistance path and large surface area for gas evolution or collection. Electrochemical sensor assemblies and test rigs, where uniform Ni mesh supports reproducible current distribution and structural integrity under cyclic operation. Corrosion-test fixtures and chemical-processing environments (e.g., salt spray, chlorides, alkaline solutions) where nickel’s inherent resistance to pitting and high-temperature stability are advantageous. Marine, offshore or other chloride-rich environments where a nickel mesh can act as a durable anode/cathode support or as part of a protective electrode assembly. Prototype or research use-cases: The thin (0.15 mm) mesh dimension allows compact electrode designs and efficient integration into modular systems.
